I am busy busy still with trying to make at least a few new pieces between each show, and next month will prove to be busy in a different way with family coming to visit as well as a holiday for Darren and me (So I may be late again with the newsletter and vlog or maybe just wait until October to put out the next one).
But there has been a shift in my thinking.
I am not sure how to describe it. Perhaps it is a new way of accepting everything that is going on, or perhaps it is partially just remembering how I used to view my circumstances and going back to that way of being. Either way, I feel that with a clear picture of the boundaries I hold for myself, I can let go of the rest. The outcomes, while they may not seem to be beneficial to me in the present, will eventually take care of themselves. And really, I have learned this over and over again in my life. I can't remember the number of times I have looked back in my life and realized that what seemed like a bad situation gave me a better outcome in the end. This mode of being has helped me to let go of a lot of stress, and lifted my mood. Yay!!
In the meantime, I would like to introduce you to Lucy! The sculpture above. At just over 3 feet high, she will make some lucky buyer a lovely addition to their garden, and priced at $ 777.00, well, you can't go wrong. Haha! I am currently making her sister, Maeve, and will have both of these ladies in the Arts on the Avenue show in Ladysmith on the 28th of August. If you are nearby, I would love to see you there!
Anddd...the Vlog! Can't forget the vlog. This month I am giving you some insight into my copper mobile making process. As always, the link is below.
***New subscribers...the draw for the mobile will be at the end of September! Keep your eyes on your inbox!
